*** Memorial Orders: Within 1-3 days of receiving your order, we will mail you a collection kit. You will receive a shipping notification from Etsy once the collection kit has been mailed. The kit will have detailed instructions on how much, where, and how to send ashes, hair, or fur to, a collection receptacle with your order # on it, and a USPS cardboard envelope (postage not prepaid). ***Only 2-3 Tablespoons of ashes are required per order. If you are not cremating, we can also create the memorials using a small amount of hair/fur as these will turn into ash during the glassblowing process. Details for gathering and shipping the ashes/hair/fur will be emailed to you within 24 hours of receiving your order. Any leftover ashes will be shipped back to you with the finished memorial(s). All ashes are different; some are very light and powdery, some are very dark and clumpy. This is a result of the diet, medical issues, metal in the body (pins) and/or the cremation process. We double-sift all ashes upon receiving them, but sometimes the sifted ashes clump together in the process of infusing them in the glass under high temperature.
